Tau Sigma National Honor SocietyTau Sigma Logo

Tau Sigma is an academic honor society designated specifically to "recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students."  The College of Charleston is home to the Alpha Rho Chapter of Tau Sigma.

Membership criteria:

  • must be enrolled as a full-time student
  • must transfer to the College with at least one full year's worth of academic credits
  • must complete first term at the College of Charleston after transferring with at least a 3.5 GPA
